Hang out pond side, listen to some live tunes, or maybe play some "beach" volleyball while skiers and snowboarders brave the icy pond skim waters and try to impress our judges and earn their spot at the top! Skimming starts at 1 PM!

This December, Liberty Mountain Resort marks 60 years since its original debut as Charnita in 1965. For many, Liberty has become a second home filled with friendships, tradition, and unforgettable days on snow. Its impact on the community runs deep, introducing tens of thousands of local students to winter sports through longstanding youth access programs.
To honor this rich history, Liberty will host decades-themed celebrations every weekend starting in January, complete with competitions, entertainment, giveaways, and more. Be sure to join the fun & celebrate this legendary resort.
